Dream11’s app listings remain reachable and describe sports engagement and free contests. In its 27 August 2026 announcement, Dream Sports said Dream11 had discontinued all prizes. That is not a promise of paid-contest reopening, an all-India legal ruling or a test of your account’s access.
What the current sources actually say
This status guide is part of the Come APK editorial site. It describes Dream11 separately from the selected LUCKX file and partner platform. A search suggestion containing “banned”, “closed” or “reopen” is a question, not an announcement.

Where older marketing, reviews or a store badge use reward language, retain the source and date. The latest dated company statement in this review says all prizes were discontinued; we do not silently reinterpret it as a prize relaunch.

If an activity is described as free, read its actual entry and outcome rules in the Dream11 contest checklist. Missing feature, app error or an old version?
Name the missing function
Write down whether the failure concerns installation, opening the app, signing in, viewing a match, joining a free contest or a historical prize/payment feature.
Check the local failure first
For a connection error, test another trusted website and record the time, app version and message. For a store incompatibility message, compare the device requirements. One failed page is not proof of a nationwide shutdown.
Compare a dated operator notice
Check whether the function was withdrawn, changed or temporarily interrupted. A published product change is different from an unexplained network failure.
Choose the matching remedy
Use a store-offered update for an identified update need. Use account support for account restrictions. If the operator has withdrawn a server-side feature, an older APK cannot establish that it is restored.

Is Dream11 banned or legal in India?

Read the operator’s current terms, then check any applicable official law or order for its issue date, commencement, territorial scope and the conduct it covers.
